Sounding Board Project: The New Music Initiative for Guitarists and Composers is an annual project focused on promoting collaborative relationships between composers and performers to create new works for guitar. Each composer is paired with a guitarist or an ensemble, and they collaborate through the creation, premier, and recording of new work. 

 

Our mission is to promote composition on the guitar by providing collaborative relationships between composers and guitarists, facilitating workshop training for composers, performing new works in concert, and producing professional quality audio/video recordings of new works.
